Kanin – Sella Nevea Ski Resort

The so-called Sunny Kanin is connected to the Italian ski resort Sella Nevea. It entices with an amazing mountainous atmosphere and natural snow until late spring. It is one of the largest Slovenian ski resorts. It hosts beginners, advanced skiers and snowboarding fans, as well as those who wish to relax in the high mountain sun and air.

It opens in December when there is enough snow for great skiing. Skiing season lasts until May, and when sunrays hit the ski slopes, skiing fans often decide for afternoon rafting on the Soča river.
When the weather is pleasant, Kanin’s sun terrace with a clear view right to the Slovenian sea is particularly popular. On Kanin you will also find Prestreljenik restaurant, the highest-lying restaurant in Slovenia (2,202 m), is accessible by circular cableway.
