The alpine meadows spread over steep slopes around Soča valley, 1,000 meters above sea level. The museum hosts old cheese making equipment with fire under the kettle and an old cellar where the traditional Tolminc cheese is still ripened today. Visitors also have the chance to see a traditional 'stan', a special structure intended for cheese making, still used today in the Posočje alpine meadows. In addition to different souvenirs, local artisan products and other useful homemade gifts, the museum gift shop also offers Planika Dairy products, including the famous Tolminc cheese.
