Military cemetery of the fallen in the First World War. The ossuary was built in times of systematic Italian arrangement of military cemeteries on Gradič around the church of St. Antony. This is the only ossuary in Slovenia, because all other remains of the soldiers were transferred to the Sredpolje ossuary (Redipuglia) and Oslavje. The military troops’ ossuary was completed in 1938 and was solemnly opened by Benito Musolini. It is the work of sculptor Giannino Gastiglioni and architect Giovanni Greppi. 14 stations of the Cross are placed on the way from Kobarid to the church of St. Antony. The ossuary and the stations are managed by the Italian state.
